Indiana University’s Prof. Jorge José will give a lecture on theoretical and computational neuroscience at the Institute of Theoretical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Prof. José stepped down from his position as IU’s Vice President for Research in 2015 and is currently on a year’s sabbatical focusing on his research in neuroscience, spending part of that time in Beijing. After completing his sabbatical he will serve as Rudy Professor of Physics at IU Bloomington and a member of the Department of Cellular and Integrative Physiology at the IU School of Medicine in Indianapolis.
