Twenty-one undergraduate students from the Kelley School of Business BUS-P 272: Infrastructure Challenges in China course will attend lectures given by local faculty at the China Gateway on Infrastructure and Business in China, and Chinese culture and history. This will be followed by tour of the Summer Palace in the afternoon and a visit to a major Chinese-based multinational company the following day, supported by the IU China Gateway.
The Infrastructure Challenges in China course is part of the Kelley Global Foundations Core, a set of courses each offering students a unique opportunity to study a country or region in depth and then participate in an accompanying study tour abroad. The students travel to Shanghai and Beijing and will examine infrastructure challenges and the business environment of China and study how the cultural, social, legal and political aspects influence business activities.
