A group of students, faculty, and staff from the Indiana University Hutton Honors College visits Beijing as part of a study abroad program. The course meets during the spring semester on the Bloomington campus. On campus , the course will discuss the concept of the city as not only a place but also as a question through analysing city forms from across the globe. Over spring break, participants will travel to Beijing to gain first hand experience of these topics. While in Beijing, the group will participate in daily thematic "walks" to different areas of the city. In addition, the group will visit the IU Gateway China office to hear a guest lecture from a local scholar.
