The Joint Physics Analysis Center (JPAC) is a collaboration of theoretical physicists centered around Indiana University and Jefferson National Laboratory. They are interested in developing theoretical methods to understand the complex interactions between quarks and gluons and how they join to form larger composite particles. The Beijing Spectrometer (BESIII) collaboration uses the Beijing Electron-Positron Collider (BEPC) to experimentally study these same composite particles. In this joint workshop between JPAC and BESIII, we will explore questions that could benefit from closer cooperation between these two collaborations.
