Indiana University Arts Administration faculty member and jazz pianist/author Monika Herzig will lead a group of IU students and recent graduates for a series of concerts and workshops in collaboration with the Indianapolis/Cologne Sister City Exchange and the IU Europe Gateway. The group will present a concert program on the Jazz Legacy of Indiana featuring music by Hoagy Carmichael, Cole Porter, David Baker, Wes Montgomery, Freddie Hubbard and more. In addition, Dr. Herzig will present a workshop on career development at the UDK Berlin. After the concert tour several participants will continue to Graz, Austria for a two-week overseas course entitled “Comparative Music Industry” at the Kunst Universität Graz.
