The two-day symposium at the IU India Office, held each day from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, will bring together a number of non-governmental organizations, human rights activists, police officers, and university students to discuss about two subjects: crimes against women, and police reform. The symposium will help build partnership with independent groups in India and initiate several research projects focused upon crime, human rights, police and several justice related issues. The event is organized by IU Professor Arvind Verma.
