IU is coming to India to hold a pre-departure orientation called IU2U. This one-day workshop is an opportunity for incoming freshmen and their parents to interact with current IU faculty, staff, and students. Throughout the course of the day, new students will get to know current students, learn how to prepare for academic success, and select courses for their first semester.
Parents are also invited to attend. Special information sessions will be held for parents to learn how best to support their student from home along with the campus resources that are available at IU.
Students and parents are also invited to stay and attend the networking reception that will take place from 6:00-7:00pm. Recent alumni and current students will be in attendance to answer questions and offer additional support.
E-mail invitations to this event are sent to all newly admitted freshmen in early April. Check for your e-mail from the Office of International Services to learn more and to register. You may also visit the IU2U website or e-mail IU2U at iu2u@indiana.edu for more information.
