Description
Indiana University’s Global Gateways have helped to establish IU as a global university, serving as entry points to the rest of the world. This network builds relationships with universities, institutes, NGOs, government, alumni and businesses around the world, creating opportunities for research, partnerships, conferences, workshops, overseas study, and internships.
The IU Mexico Gateway allows IU faculty and students to fully immerse themselves in academic activities and partnerships in Mexico. Our Gateway presence helps link-local institutional partners, alumni, and students more closely with IU, and increases the visibility and impact of our academic and research activities in Latin America.
During the months of May and June the IU Mexico Gateway is hosting and/or supporting a number of visiting faculty and students. As the Spanish/English bilingual (or aspiring to be!) IU Mexico Gateway Intern your main focus will be working with the team here to facilitate these visits. You are passionate about Mexico and international exchange, education and collaboration. You are a problem solver, team player and love to be flexible in your work. Your past international experience and independent work style will be an asset to the Gateway team and mission.
