Financial support for new overseas study programs
IU faculty members can apply for grants to develop new overseas study programs, with preference given to new program proposals that relate to the UN Sustainable Development Goals. These grants provide funding to explore the academic and logistical arrangements for prospective faculty-led IU study abroad programs.
Full-time academic appointees on any IU campus can apply for funding.
The deadlines for application are November 1 and February 1 each year.
About the funding
Awards are a maximum of $3,000 to fund international travel costs and local room and board expenses, typically for up to one week abroad.
