As the University of the Western Cape positions itself as a research-led university, it is constantly demonstrating the purpose and benefit of its research. By pursuing research in all disciplines – from synthetic fuel processes to understanding how the universe was formed – they are focused in their efforts to produce research with impact. The University has made significant gains in the production and transfer of cutting-edge knowledge in key fields regionally and internationally.
Engagement with IU
UWC has a primary agreement and a sub-agreement with IU, which establishes a faculty exchange between IUB and UWC faculty. The faculty exchange is administered by the African Studies Program in the Hamilton Lugar School of Global and International Studies at IUB.
