IU’s commitment to international engagement can be traced throughout the university’s history. Since enrolling the first international students in the nineteenth century, IU has become a destination for thousands of students and scholars from across the globe each year. Our study-abroad programs have expanded dramatically, offering students on all campuses a range of opportunities for overseas experiences. And we have maintained and strengthened our relationships with leading universities around the world.
While we celebrate these achievements, we also look forward, charting a course that builds on the investments of the past and the present.
