World Language Festival (WLF) Virtual Academy self-guided modules

The original one-day event World Language Festival was reimagined into a continuously available self-guided Canvas course through IU Expand that showcases the diverse languages and cultures of our world. New modules are added each year. Enroll in the IU Expand World Langauge Festival course.

Attendees can earn various IU-verified digital badges, which include individual badges for completing one lesson or higher-level “pathway” badges for completing a pathway that includes multiple lessons. You can find out more about the pathway badges offered through Center for Language Technology listed at Pathways - Indiana University (Canvas Credentials).

Language/culture instructors from IU and beyond have worked hard to create fun and thought-provoking mini lessons on a broad range of topics for WLF, and we would be so appreciative of the opportunity to reach a wider audience through including our program in your materials.
