About Us

Managing our global presence

We seek to strengthen our global reputation and make the world a better place by:

  • Maintaining strategic partnerships with peer institutions abroad
  • Reviewing and overseeing IU’s agreements with overseas higher education institutions and the university’s cross-border activities
  • Managing externally funded technical- and development-assistance projects to help developing countries with institution-building abroad projects

Assessing health risks in China

In just three days, Kan Shao conducted a workshop at the IU China Gateway that could result in the development of life-saving government regulations. He taught professionals and graduate students to assess health risks by evaluating the level of toxicity of chemicals in the environment and the likelihood that people will be exposed to those chemicals.
