Becca is a native Bloomingtonian and proud graduate of Indiana University. She has been with the Office of International Services since 2012, starting as an International Services Representative. As Assistant Director for Special Programs, Becca oversees the admissions process for incoming exchange students, and serves as the primary contact person for IU departments that are developing or implementing short-term student programs. She also manages the la Caixa” Fellowship Program, which provides funding for 50 Spanish graduate students to study in the U.S. and Canada each year.
In 2015, she participated in American University’s Intercultural Management Institute “Train the Trainer” workshop. Since that time, she has been part of OIS’ intercultural communication team and given numerous presentations for IU departments, students, and incoming Fulbright scholars.
Becca loves all the outdoor activities and cultural opportunities that Bloomington has to offer, especially hiking on local trails, exploring museums, and volunteering for the Lotus Festival. She spent time teaching in Australia through IU’s Cultural Immersion Project, and has worked in a pub in Leeds, England.
