Biography

Teresa graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in English in 2012, and a Master’s in 2014 with a research focus on the need for LGBTQIA+-inclusive curriculum in TESOL classrooms. She then taught English as a Foreign Language (EFL) (both abroad in South Korea and stateside in Kentucky) before moving into immigration work, where she finds passion in helping visitors unravel complex immigration laws and assisting other Americans in better understanding the need for international collaboration and cooperation. Her professional development includes workshops and trainings on intercultural competency, gender equity, accessibility, and other social justice topics.

Teresa’s personal interests include visual arts, travel, literature, sustainable consumption, and any activity that gets her outdoors!
