OVPIA is adding a global dimension to Sustain IU Week. Each year, Sustain IU Interns and Scholars present the culmination of their work at the annual symposium. This year, we are hosting a research poster competition that is open to all IU students!
Global Sustainability Poster Competition
Sustainable Development Goal 9

Build resilient infrastructure, promote inclusive and sustainable industrialization and foster innovation
Engaging with UN Sustainable Development Goals
In December 2018, IU became a founding member of the U.S. chapter of the Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN). This alliance of U.S. universities seeks to make progress toward achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
This framework provides an essential perspective for inherently global issues. Studying the SDGs is part of a broader, international approach to learning. This project aligns international learning with SDGs, challenges and empowers students, and creates new skills, values and attitudes for global sustainable societies.
