This MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING is written in the spirit of promoting international collaboration and understanding by stimulating and supporting international activities and projects with emphasis on internationalization of higher education. It provides a framework for the collaboration of the four institutions within the German Migration Research Network (GMRN). The research network was accepted as one of the projects of the funding program International Virtual Academic Collaboration (IVAC) by the German Academic Exchange Service / Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst.
In furtherance of their mutual interests in teaching and research, desire to strengthen mutual contact, and as a contribution to increased international cooperation this MOU serves as a basis for cooperation between all the four institutional partners.
